Barista Mtaani is a Kenyan coffee initiative whose name means “barista in the hood/local area” in Swahili. It was started by Kenya Coffee School to make specialty coffee culture, training, and entrepreneurship accessible at the community level across Kenya.

What Barista Mtaani does :

Affordable specialty coffee for the communityInstead of high-end cafés, it focuses on expertly brewed coffee at lower prices through mobile kiosks, bodaboda carts, and small stalls in busy streets, markets, and residential areas.
